We look forward to another great day spent on the Chesapeake Bay competing for biggest fish and most funds raised with Fish For A Cure (F4AC) on Saturday, Nov. 5. We want to share a few important updates with you as we are just days away from this year’s F4AC Tournament, Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge, and Shore Party!
Deadline for F4AC Boat Registration – Monday, Oct. 31
The deadline for registration for F4AC 2022 is Monday, Oct. 31. Don’t get left dockside – register your boat and anglers today! We will need to know who is definitely fishing from your crew so that we can help upload your team’s information into the iAngler app.
Captain’s Meeting – Wednesday, Nov. 2
Mark your calendars – the F4AC Captain’s Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 5-9 p.m. at the Annapolis Maritime Museum and Park, located at 723 Second St., Annapolis, MD. Please find parking information here.
Attendance is mandatory – one crew member from each team must be present to learn about the tournament rules and procedures. Just a reminder that F4AC is now a “Catch and Release” tournament for striped bass. We’re not only fishing for a good cause, but also helping to sustain the striped bass population in the Chesapeake Bay. Additionally, you can pick up your captain’s buckets and F4AC signature t-shirts at this meeting.
Tournament and Shore Party – Saturday, Nov. 5
Celebrate the completion of the 2022 F4AC tournament and giving season at the Shore Party at the South Annapolis Yacht Center (SAYC), located at 750 Boucher Ave., Annapolis, MD. There will be live music, a buffet-style dinner, and an open bar. Tournament winners and awards will be announced from 4-5 p.m. prior to the Shore Party from 5-9 p.m. Buy tickets to the Shore Party today! Valet parking is available at SAYC on a first come, first served basis.
