Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge Blown out of the Water in Cancer Care Support

The competition was electric this year with captains and crews fundraising in the 2019 Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge in support of the Cancer Survivorship Program at Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute.  Congratulations to our winning boats who took the top 5 spots in the Captain’s Challenge:

1st place with $79,159.57: Alternating Currents- Heller Electric with Captain Brian Heller and anglers, Stephanie Heller, Glenn Goldburn, Rich McCann, Vicky McCann, Shannon Norris, and Barry Thompson

2nd place with $48,384.73: LaxFish with Captain Rich Bowen and anglers, Dan Ahrnsbrak, Nat Ballard, Bruce Beardmore, Ed Bilderback, Paul J. Boncaro, Mark Carroll, Peter Hill, Steve Morgan, Jamie Orders, and Rob Shepherd

3rd place with $47,875.00: Team EGGHEAD with Captain Christopher Turner and anglers, Steven Bradford, Kurt Burkhart, Wayne Gessford, Ryan Moody, and Janet Rupp

4th place with $40,279.36: Just in Time with Captain Rob Schurr and anglers, Ernest Arizzi, Gray Barton, Andrea George, Tom George, Mike Hartman, Liz Mitchell, and Brian Page

5th place with $31,201.00: Lady Jen with Yorktel and Greenberg Gibbons with Captain Ken Scaturro and anglers, Jen Scaturro, Alex Laperouse, Mike George, and Brian Gibbons

Special thanks to the 76 boats who participated in this year’s F4AC Tournament and Paul C. Dettor Captain’s Challenge to help raise more than $615,000 to support the Cancer Survivorship Program at AAMC’S Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute.
